The popular Summer Sunsets Live series at Thompson’s Point, featuring local music and food trucks, starts on June 20 and runs through Sept. 12.
The free events happen on nights when the expansive outdoor space by the Fore River in Portland is not being used for major concerts. The festivities start at 4 p.m. and end when the sun goes down.
The June 20 event will include a performance of New Orleans-inspired tunes by Soggy Po’ Boys.
Summer Sunsets Live is dog- and kid-friendly. Lawn games are available. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and dine on assorted cuisine from a lineup of food trucks while listening to live, local music and enjoying artisanal cocktails from the bar.
