Roman Anthony hit a first-inning home run and the Portland Sea Dogs never trailed in beating the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 5-3 Tuesday night in an Eastern League game at Hadlock Field.
Blaze Jordan was 3 for 4 for Portland, which won its third straight.
Eddinson Paulino had an RBI triple in the fourth and scored on Phillip Sikes’ sacrifice fly to center.
Kristian Campbell added an RBI double in the seventh and Portland’s final run scored on a bases-loaded walk to Elih Marrero in the eighth.
New Hampshire scored a run in the fifth on an RBI single by Ryan McCarty and a run in the eighth on an RBI single by Zach Britton. McCarty scored on a wild pitch in the ninth.
Robert Kwiatkowki pitched the last four innings for his second save. He allowed six hits and two runs. He walked one and struck out two.
