Devonte Brown hit an RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 3-2 win over the Portland Sea Dogs in the completion of a suspended game on Saturday in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The game was the completion of Friday’s game, which was suspended because of rain with the Fisher Cats leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning. The game originally scheduled for Saturday was postponed.
The Fisher Cats had the bases loaded when the game restarted, after a rain delay, but Wyatt Olds got Cade Doughty to strike out to end the inning.
Kyle Teel had an RBI double and Blaze Jordan an RBI single to give Portland a 2-1 lead in the top of the fifth. Rainer Nunez, whose single in the first gave New Hampshire the lead, tied the game in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single.
