The Maine Pops Concert Band will be playing for free at Heseltine Park on Irving Street in Portland’s Woodfords neighborhood.
The show starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 17.
The Maine Pops Concert Band has been around since 1998, and there are about 110 members, with 75of them expected to play at the park.
You can expect to hear a variety of pop, show tunes, big band jazz, patriotic songs and marches during the show.
Sweeten the night by grabbing a cone from Sammy’s Scoops ice cream a few hundred feet from the park at 51 Ocean Ave.
