Kennebunk High School Principal Jeremie Sirois has resigned after four years at the school. Beginning at the end of the summer, Sirois will take a position as principal at Line Elementary School in Newfield.
He has “loved” his time as a high school administrator, Sirois told the Post, but looks forward to working in a new school environment.
“My original degree is in elementary education,” Sirois said. “I have always wanted to put that degree to use and eventually work as an elementary principal.”
In four years at Kennebunk High School, Sirois has built “amazing” relationships that he says he will always treasure.
“I’m going to miss the kids and my staff the most,” Sirois said.
Kennebunk High School assistant principals Farausi Cherry and Don Weafer said they enjoyed working with Sirois during their time at KHS.
“He is an experienced educator and brought some great ideas to RSU 21,” they said. “We certainly wish him the best in his next endeavor.”
The school district has posted Sirois’ position.
