What’s better than a cucumber picked fresh from the garden?

In Maine, we’re spoiled by the many farmers markets that offer an array of goods, from fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables to naturally raised meats, milk, eggs, cheeses, baked goods, coffee, maple syrup, honey, soaps and salves. And don’t forget the seedlings, cut flowers, crafts and other items often for sale.
