Visually speaking, Maine is at its most glorious during the fall because of the millions of trees and their Technicolor foliage.
To stay in the know about the latest foliage reports, complete with detailed maps updated every Wednesday with where to go for the best displays, head to Instagram or Facebook, and follow Maine Foliage.
Both pages are run by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry.
Along with all of the useful info, you’ll also see plenty of photographs that capture sweeping views of foliage around the state.
