Sumeya Hussein scored an unassisted goal in the first half and Waynflete went on to a 2-0 victory against Sacopee Valley in a Western Maine Conference field hockey game Monday.
Ava Vander Schaaf made it 2-0 from Nicole Adler.
Lily Kick stopped three shots for Sacopee Valley (0-3). Mya Clark needed to make a single save for the Flyers (2-2).
KENNEBUNK 4, PORTLAND-DEERING 1: Kaity Darrah scored three goals to lead the Rams (2-6) over the Bulldogs (0-6) at Kennebunk.
Lydia Beaupre also scored for Kennebunk. Maya Zager answered for Portland/Deering.
Faith Flynn had four saves for the Rams; Emma Walsh stopped 16 shots for the Bulldogs.
ST. DOMINIC 7, WELLS 0: Madeline Andrews scored three goals as the Saints (4-2) defeated the Warriors (1-5) at Auburn.
Chloe Beauchesne added two goals, and Emily Andrews and Ava Martin also scored.
LAKE REGION 4, CAPE ELIZABETH 1: After surrendering an early goal, the Lakers (2-3) answered with four consecutive goals to pull away from the Capers (0-4) at Naples.
Audrey Philbrook, Nica Walter, Audrey Williams and Mia Letarte recorded goals for Lake Region.
Nell Hebda was the goal scorer for Cape Elizabeth.
FREEPORT 2, GREELY 0: Liza Flower finished off a pass from Emily Groves to break a scoreless tie 25 seconds into the second half as the Falcons (6-0) blanked the Rangers (2-3) in Freeport.
Lizalyn Boudreau added an insurance goal for Freeport.
Mya Vickerson stopped 12 shots for Greely, while Maddie Kryzak needed one save to record the shutout for the Falcons.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
TEMPLE ACADEMY 2, PINE TREE ACADEMY 0: Dixie Szabo scored two goals to lead Temple Academy (4-0) over Pine Tree (3-1) at Freeport.
Mia Fitzpatrick and Karis Louis scored, and Karissa DeWitt made one save for the Bereans.
BOYS’ SOCCER
FALMOUTH 2, WESTBROOK 1: Charlie Creswell opened the scoring with a goal on a feed from Griffin Parr and Simon Wissink finished off a pass from Evan Mayo as the Navigators (5-1) took a 2-0 halftime edge and topped the Blue Blazes (2-3) at Falmouth.
Paddy Walsh scored with an assist from Mo Ahmed late in the contest for Westbrook.
Jason McCarthy stopped seven shots for the Blue Blazes with Caden Berry recording four saves for the Navigators.
