All proceeds will benefit the proposed Founders Park Community Center, the year-round, open air pavilion nestled between the Wells Town Hall and Elementary School on Route 109 in Wells.

Tickets to the event are $35 and can be purchased at the Elmwood Resort Hotel on Route 1 in Wells or by scanning the QR code on the event poster. The poster is available around town and on the committee’s website, www.foundersparkcommunitycenter.org. Doors open for the event at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.

The committee, which has been hard at work since January, is in the middle of an extensive fundraising campaign, pursuing its goal of using private sources to pay the costs of construction and operation of the facility, estimated at $2.5 million.

One of the options involves the sale of brick pavers at $125 each, which can be individualized with the donor’s name, family, a friend or loved one, and engraved with that message. The pavers measure 4 inches by 8 inches by 2.25 inches and will grace the walkway leading to the pavilion.

The pavers can be purchased by visiting the Founders Park Committee website and select “donate.” It’s a great gift for yourself, a family member, or friend, and it helps support a worthy cause.

Individual donations to the project in any amount are welcome and can be made by contacting the Wells Town Offices at 207-646-5113 or text COMMUNITYCENTER to 91999.

Help us build the heart of our community.
