An East Waterboro man died Monday afternoon after being hit by a front-end loader at his workplace.
Cory Maddox, 43, was walking across the yard of Dayton Sand and Gravel when he was hit by the bucket of a front-end loader driven by a co-worker, the Maine State Police said.
Troopers responded and were unable to resuscitate him, police said.
The incident is being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the state police, who said there is no sign of criminal activity.
