South Portland and Cape Elizabeth residents will be asked this November to fill a number of council and school board seats.
South Portland
The District 3 City Council seat, held by Mayor Misha Pride, and the District 4 seat, held by Councilor Steven Riley, are up for grabs in South Portland. Challenging Pride for the District 3 seat is Robert Kierstead while Riley is being challenged for the District 4 seat by Jessica Walker.
Rosemarie DeAngelis is running to hold her District 3 School Board seat against challenger Georgette Stone. Meanwhile, District 4 School Board member Molly Schen is running for reelection unopposed.
All four seats are full, three-year terms.

Cape Elizabeth
Three town council and three school board seats are up for election in Cape Elizabeth.
The seats of Council Chair Timothy Reiniger, Councilor Susan Gillis and Councilor Jeremy Gabrielson are up for grabs and Reiniger is the sole incumbent running.
Challengers include David Andrews, David Hughes, Jonathan Sahrbeck, Andrew Swayze and current School Board Chair Elizabeth Scifres.
The School Board seats of Scifres, Heather Altenburg and Kathleen Curry-Sparks are sought after by newcomers Christopher Boniakowski, Peter Joy Engel and Lee Schroeder. Scifres is seeking a seat on the town council and the other incumbents are not seeking reelection.
