The Cape Elizabeth School Board will hold a public forum on the proposed $89.9 million school building project on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall.

The School Department will provide a tour of the schools on Oct. 29 starting at the middle school entrance. They held their first school tour on Monday.

Voters will be asked at the November election to approve a $94.7 million bond, of which $89.9 million would go to the school project, with the remaining $4.8 million slated for the town to repurpose the original high school built in 1933. The school board voted to return the building to the town in July.

The proposed project would build a new middle school and fund additions and renovations at the elementary and high schools.
