Tyler Ferguson is the new CEO of PM Construction Co. in Saco. Ferguson previously was the vice president of National Firestopping Solutions, a company he co-founded. He has been on the board of directors for the Firestop Contractors International Association since 2018 and was its president last year.

Northern Light Mercy Primary Care has hired three new providers. Amy Blodgett, who earned a family nurse practitioner degree from St. Joseph College, will work at the Gorham office. Kelly Guildford and Roy Taormina will work at the Windham office. Guilford, a family nurse practitioner, received her degree from Chamberlain University in Illinois and previously worked in the intensive care unit at Mercy Hospital and Central Maine Medical Center. Toarmina, a physician assistant, received a degree from the University of New England and has worked as an advanced EMT.

Jim Goodbody
Bath Savings Trust Company has hired Jim Goodbody as a vice president and trust officer. Goodbody has been a financial adviser for 10 years. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Boston University.

Scott McDonnell
Channel 8 WMTW has hired Scott McDonnell as an anchor for the 5 p.m. “Maine’s Total Coverage” program on weekdays. McDonnell has been a television reporter in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Arizona. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island.

InterMed has hired three physicians for its Portland locations. Maura Fox is a family medicine physician, Lauren Jamele-Townley is a pediatrician and Kaitlyn McCune is an OB-GYN. Fox has a bachelor’s degree from College of the Holy Cross and a medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Jamele-Townley has a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and medical degree from the University of New England. McCune has a bachelor’s degree from Agnes Scott College in Georgia and a medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.

Dana Whitney

Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty has hired one person and promoted another. Trevor Dodge joined as an associate broker. Dana Whitney is now a licensed real estate agent in addition to director of marketing. Dodge is making a career change after 25 years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Whitney has been the marketing director since 2012.
PROMOTIONS

Carolyn Dorsey
Carolyn Dorsey has been promoted to vice chancellor for strategic initiatives and chief of staff for the University of Maine System. She had served in those roles on an interim basis since June 2022 and was the system’s associate vice chancellor for academic affairs before that. Dorsey has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Husson University and is finishing a doctorate at the University of Maine.

Jamie Mawhinney
Atlantic Federal Credit Union promoted Jamie Mawhinney to chief operations officer. Mawhinney has worked at the credit union for 12 years, most recently as a senior vice president of loan servicing.

Two people joined the Maine Sports Commission’s board of directors. Jeff McCabe is the director of the Maine Office of Outdoor Recreation and a former state representative. Patrick Caron is a professional mountain ultra trail athlete and founder of Move Free, an outdoor activewear company.
