Sebastian Martini scored on a penalty kick with 50 seconds remaining in the second overtime to give Brunswick a 3-2 win over Edward Little in a boys’ soccer game Tuesday at Brunswick.

Martini pocketed a one-hop shot to the bottom left corner of the net as Edward Little goalkeeper Max Kimble dived in the opposite direction. The goal gave the Dragons (8-3) their sixth straight victory and the Red Eddies (6-3-1) their second straight loss after a six-game win streak.

Martini got his opportunity after teammate Oliver Gorchoff was fouled in the box.

Joelson Malongo and Jacob Samuel also scored for Brunswick. Ben Cole scored twice for Edward Little.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 3 , VINALHAVEN 0: King Intwale and Sammy Batista each scored in the first half as the Breakers (7-1) blanked the Vikings (0-4) at Vinalhaven.

Collin Verrill added an insurance goal in the second half for Pine Tree Academy.

YARMOUTH 7, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 1: Luis Cardoso had a two goals, five other players scored and the visiting Clippers (7-1-2) handled the Panthers (6-3-1) in Yarmouth.

Gideon Ahrens, Zacarias Binda, Nate Buchanan, Ian Lawrence and James Hartnett also scored for Yarmouth.

Jesse Mutagoma scored and Gavin Thomas made eight saves for NYA.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

FREEPORT 3, WAYNFLETE 0: Lucy Riggs and Silvi Strong scored goals late in the first half and Kenzie Cochran added a goal midway through the second half as Freeport blanked Waynflete at Portland.

Riggs’ goal was assisted by Abby Giroux. Cochran’s goal was set up by Elsa Klein. Karleigh Costello saved three shots for the Falcons (6-3-1).

The Flyers (3-5-1) got four saves from Talia Melnick and one from Rachel Yordon.

LAKE REGION 3, MORSE 1: Abbi Nadeau provided a pair of first-half goals as the Lakers (2-1-7) upended the Shipbuilders (5-4-1) at Naples.

Ella Martin added a goal for Lake Region.

Zoe Nicholson scored for Morse.

Hannah Keller stopped nine shots for the Shipbuilders, and Jordan Blanton had three saves for the Lakers.

PORTLAND 3, MASSABESIC 0: Anneliese Collin had two goals, Beleria Yugu also scored and the Bulldogs (1-9) beat the visiting Mustangs (1-9-1) at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Sydney Trefethen, Rosa Slack and Maizie Chalmers earned assists for Portland.
WINDHAM 3, CHEVERUS 1: Marley Jarvais’ goal late in the first half snapped a tie and Windham went on to beat visiting Cheverus.
The Stags (6-1-2) struck first on a goal from Jill Foley, but Emily Talbot answered three minutes later. Mackenzie Delewski added a goal early in the second half for the Eagles (8-0-1).

SANFORD 3, BONNY EAGLE 1: Bella McCall scored 5:00 into the second half to break a 1-1 tie and lead the Spartans (5-3-1) past the Scots (4-4-1) at Sanford.

Annalise Stimmell and Mollie Puffer each chipped in with a goal and an assist for Sanford.

AnnaSophia Sawyer scored for Bonny Eagle.

FIELD HOCKEY

NOBLE 2, SOUTH PORTLAND/WESTBROOK 0: Alyssa Plante scored with 5:26 to play in the third quarter to break a scoreless tie as the Knights (4-5) blanked the Red Riots (4-5-1) at South Portland.

Plante added an insurance goal off a penalty corner in the closing minutes of regulation.

BIDDEFORD 4, GORHAM 3: Hannah Sonne-Loranger opened the scoring on a pass from Lola Laverriere and Ayla Lagasse added a goal on a Corinne Ramunno feed just 1:30 later as the Tigers (8-2) opened a 2-0 first-quarter lead and held off the Rams (5-4) at Gorham.

Ramunno and Mia Marriello added second-quarter goals for Biddeford.

Annabelle Collier, Sydney Quimby and Reece Leclerc all chipped in with a goal and an assist for Gorham.
