Jocelyn Coons has been hired by Fontaine Family as a real estate agent serving the Auburn area. Coons is a bartender and server at a country club and the assistant coach for Lewiston High School’s cheerleading team. She has an associate’s degree in business administration and management from Central Maine Community College.

Henry B. Barkley
Curtis Thaxter has hired Henry B. Barkley as a litigation attorney. Barkley was previously the law clerk for the business and consumer court. He received his juris doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.

Deborah Wentworth
Deborah Wentworth has been hired as the first-ever Chief Operating Officer of United Insurance. Wentworth has over 30 years of experience in insurance, including at MEMIC, Hanover Insurance and Clark Insurance. She has a bachelor’s degree in business from Husson University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Chelsea Watson
Evergreen Credit Union hired Chelsea Watson as a community engagement specialist. Watson has eight years of experience in banking, most recently working as a store supervisor for TD Bank. She has a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania.

Ashley Wolf
Hay Runner has hired Ashley Wolf as an interior designer. Wolf previously worked at Huffard House Interior Design in South Portland.

Mandy Austin
Mandy Austin is the new vice president of finance at University Credit Union. Austin has over 20 years of financial management experience, most recently serving as director of administration at Bison Transport USA. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maine at Augusta.
PROMOTIONS

Dawn Cyr
United Way of Southern Maine has promoted Dawn Cyr to director of finance. Cyr has worked at United Way for 14 years, most recently as finance manager. She received her bachelor’s in accounting from Bentley University in Mass.

Katie Brann
Katie Brann has been named a partner at Golden Pond Wealth Management. Brann has been a financial advisor at the firm since 2019 and became a Certified Financial Planner in 2021. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston University.

Ashley Butterfield
Ashley Butterfield has been promoted to the role of executive director at Bath-Brunswick Respite Care. Butterfield was previously the nonprofit’s operations manager.

Clark Insurance has promoted three people. Tricia Spencer, the former vice president of business insurance services, is now the senior vice president of business insurance services. Shelby Hamilton, previously a senior account manager, was promoted to vice president of private client services. Sarah Earley, formerly a senior accounting specialist, is now the accounting team lead.

Eamonn Hart
Eamonn Hart has been promoted to partner at Brann & Isaacson. Hart joined the firm in 2018, providing general, commercial, trust and estate litigation counsel to Maine businesses and families. He has a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College and received his juris doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
ACHIEVEMENTS

Ed Gardner
Ed Gardner of Gardner Real Estate Group was one of five people to receive a Good Neighbor Award from the National Association of Realtors. Gardner founded the Equality Community Center in Portland, which houses 18 LGBTQ-focused nonprofits under one roof with below-market rent.
