Emily Groves and Reed Proscia scored off penalty corners on Wednesday and Freeport shut out Greely 2-0 in field hockey at Cumberland to improve to 10-0.
Groves scored in the first quarter, off a pass from Sophie Bradford. Proscia’s goal came in the second quarter. Maddie Kryzak made one save for the shutout.
The Rangers (4-6) got six saves from Mya Vickerson.
WAYNFLETE 4, TELSTAR 0: Sumeya Hussein had a goal in each half as the Flyers (5-3) shut out the Rebels (0-11) at Portland.
Maisie Robinson had a first-half goal for Waynflete, and Thalia Bikamba rounded out the scoring.
WINDHAM 7, BONNY EAGLE 1: Zoe Dries had a pair of goals and a pair of assists to lead the Eagles (6-3) over the Scots (0-12) at Windham.
Abby Trainor had two goals and an assist for Windham and Zocia LaWind, Grace Joly and Mia Kri added goals. Sarah Smyth was credited with an assist.
Mackenzie Boutin scored for Bonny Eagle.
Olivia McPherson had three saves for the Eagles; Summer Champ turned aside 15 shots for the Scots.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Hazel Lewis scored on a feed from Addie Valente 2:35 into the second quarter as the Raiders (7-3) blanked the Capers (1-8) at Fryeburg.
Lulu Stocklein turned aside 10 shots for Cape Elizabeth, Rayna Wales stopped five shots for Fryeburg Academy.
ST. DOMINIC 5, LAKE REGION 0: Emily Andrews’ two goals paced the Saints (6-4) in their win over the Lakers (3-6) in Naples.
Madeline Andrews, Ava Martin and Willow Ayotte also scored for St. Dom’s, and Abilgail Labonte had an assist.
BOYS’ SOCCER
DEERING 3, MARSHWOOD 2: Augusto Daniel scored twice as the Rams (7-3-1) bolted to a 3-0 lead and then held off the Hawks (5-4-1) at South Berwick.
Alberto Lucas-Bayata also scored for the Rams.
Jack Anderson and Quinn Maguire had goals for Marshwood and Braeden Gagnon has an assist.
WINDHAM 2, FALMOUTH 2: Luke Cuniffe scored the tying goal with 12 seconds to play in regulation as the Eagles (8-1-1) rallied to secure a draw with the Navigators (9-2-1) at Falmouth.
Cuniffe assisted on a first-half goal by Sam Rogers for Windham.
Evan Mayo scored in the first half on a Caden Berry feed for Falmouth, and Simon Wissink added a goal in the second half on a Kian Long pass.
PINE TREE ACADEMY 2, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Collin Verrill helped the Breakers (8-1) defeat the Phoenix (3-7) with a first-half goal in Freeport.
Pine Tree also scored in the second half and Rhett Tyson made seven saves.
Maxwell Turner scored in the first half for Spruce Mountain and Jonathan Hines had the assist. Blake Gemelli made nine saves.
WESTBROOK 3, BONNY EAGLE 2: The Blue Blazes (5-4-1) scored three consecutive goals in the first half and held off the Scots (1-10) in Westbrook.
Bonny Eagle scored in the 11th minute when Arlo Libby sent a high kick from midfield behind the back line and near the goalmouth, and Peyton Lee punched in for a 1-0 lead.
In the 18th minute Paddy Walsh directed a back pass from the top of box to Justin Filatrault, who sent a low shot that skipped past Bonny Eagle goalie Asa Proctor (eight saves) as he dived to his left.
With 14:36 left in the half, Mustafa Saker pushed a pass from the left wing to Joel Whitehead, who sent a 25-yard floater under the crossbar for a 2-1 lead.
Walsh converted a penalty kick with 13:33 left in the half to make it 3-1.
An own goal with 10:49 left in the game made it interesting, but Westbrook was able contain the Scots the rest of the way.
Westbrook reserve goalie Isaac Crabtree made six saves in his first varsity start.
SCARBOROUGH 9, MASSABESIC 1: Matt Fallona scored three goals as the Red Storm (8-1-1) got scoring from seven players in beating the Mustangs (0-9) at Scarborough.
Santana Diaz and Kaiden Corbett had a goal and two assists apiece for Scarborough, and Wildr Leighton-Hart, Cooper Mallar, Papa Osei and EJ Herrick added goals.
Gabe Lawrence scored for Massabesic.
PORTLAND 5, CHEVERUS 0: Osvaldo Silva recorded a goal and two assists as the Bulldogs (8-1-1) defeated the host Stags (3-7).
Baptista Muanda added a goal and an assist, and Isaac Rodrigues-Nkanza, David Mawangu and Isaac Pedro also scored.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
CAPE ELIZABETH 1, GREELY 1: Noelle Mallory scored for Cape Elizabeth in the 10th minute and Lili Pierce answered for host Greely with 2:46 left in regulation as the top two teams in Class B South settled for a tie.
Kate Hetrick assisted on Mallory’s goal and Libby Hooper made eight saves for the Capers (7-1-2).
Avery Bush had the assist on Pierce’s goal. Lily Warzicki-Stein stopped seven shots for the Rangers (8-0-3).
