The chef-owner of The Lost Fire in Kennebunkport will launch another similar Patagonian open-fire concept in Westbrook’s Rock Row next year.

Called The Asador Grill by The Lost Fire, the new 7,000-square-foot restaurant will be part of Rock Row’s second phase of development, a mixed-use urban village, and construction will begin sometime in 2025; a Rock Row spokesperson said it’s too soon to be more specific about the timeline.

“The Lost Fire began as a means of reconnecting with the tastes of my home and introducing people to the unique style of grilling Argentinians have mastered,” said chef-owner Germán Lucarelli in a news release. “The Asador Grill will bring guests closer to the wonder of authentic open fire cooking than ever before.”

Rock Row’s urban village will feature a dense core of retail, residential, restaurants, entertainment and hospitality, all built around their 26-acre quarry lake.

“We are excited to welcome The Asador Grill by the Lost Fire as we continue our quest to bring an exciting array of unique dining options to our guests,” said Josh Levy, CEO of Waterstone Properties Group, developers of Rock Row.

Rock Row already has several casual eateries, both national chains and local outposts – including Cowbell and Big Fin Poké – and expects to have as many as 15 restaurants within the next three years. Rock Row officials have said they aim to open a food hall with 11 food vendor stalls and two bars, with seating for 550 people in early 2026.
