Why are you running for office?
Maine’s limited and expensive housing is Maine’s number one issue. Even people lucky enough to have a home face homelessness due to rising property taxes, yet our current administration has voted down attempts to reduce or slow down these increases. As a retiree, I want to stay in my home!
What are your top three legislative priorities?
1. Reintroduce laws defeated by Democrats increasing homestead tax exemptions and limiting the growth of property taxes.
2. Reduce regulations lowering the costs and ability to build housing.
3. Reverse the rapid decline in academic achievements of Maine students.
