BHS students perform
Biddeford High School Drama Club will delve into the chilling world of Edgar Allan Poe, bringing his classic tales to the stage in a unique student-created production titled “Nevermore: Edgar Allan Poe(ms)” on On Nov. 21, 22, and 23 at 7 p.m. This dark and captivating performance has been crafted entirely by students, who took on roles as directors, producers, playwrights,
The students adapted two of his most famous pieces, “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Raven,” into a one-hour production. The performances will be held in the Little Theatre at Biddeford High School. All three shows are open to the public with general admission seating, and tickets are available for $5 at the door.
Horse riding fundraiser
LaDawn Therapeutic Riding Center in Dayton will be holding a “Barn Benefit” fundraiser at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Woodfords Club at 179 Woodford St. in Portland. The fundraiser, which features dancing, silent auctions, and refreshments, will benefit the LaDawn Therapeutic Riding Center.

Maine Hire-A-Vet
Maine’s annual Hire-A-Vet Campaign is continuing on Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 22 at York County Community College in Wells. There will be over 40 employers and resource providers at the event, which is open to all job seekers.
