Landan Anctil, Gorham sophomore forward: Anctil had an outstanding debut season for the Rams, recording 14 goals and 21 assists in 19 games. As he improves in his second season, Anctil could be a difference maker for Gorham in a tight Class B South.

Conor Fell, York senior defenseman: A four-year contributor on the Wildcats blue line, Fell is a strong skater who is smart with the puck and a thorn in the side of opposing forwards, said York Coach Peter Douris. Fell had two goals and 16 assists last season.

Wyatt Grondin, Scarborough senior forward: The Red Storm’s leading returning scorer, Grondin will be a key player on Scarborough’s attack once again. His play could help the Red Storm turn one-goal games, of which they lost five last season, into wins.

Brady Hanisko, Cape Elizabeth senior forward: Along with his twin brother, goalie Nathan, Brady will look to help the Capers climb back into contention in the deep Class B South. Hanisko scored nine goals and added nine assists last season, with three of his goals coming on the power play.

Wyatt Labonte, Biddeford/Old Orchard/Massabesic senior defense: One of the top returning defensemen in Class A, Labonte recorded three goals and five assists last season. Labonte was a first team all-state selection by the coaches association.

Quinn McCoy, Cheverus/Yarmouth senior forward: McCoy scored 16 goals to go with 23 assists in 22 games last season, helping Cheverus/Yarmouth win the Class B state title. He’ll once again be one of the top offensive players in the competitive Class B South.

Ezra McDuffie, Greely senior forward: The top returning scorer for the Rangers, McDuffie had seven goals and six assists last season. His hat trick in the first round of the Class B South playoffs helped Greely take a come-from-behind 6-5 win over Gorham.

Brady Pecora, Thornton Academy senior forward: One of the top scorers for the Golden Trojans last season, Pecora recorded 10 goals and 11 assists. He’ll be a key offensive player for a team that looks to make another deep run in the tournament.

Ben Thyng, Marshwood/Traip/Noble/Sanford senior defense: Thyng returns to the Knighthawks as a strong defender and puck mover. His fast decision making with the puck is a strength, assistant coach Jack Garnhart said. Thyng’s puck skills allow him to create space and scoring opportunities.

Philip Traina, Windham/Bonny Eagle/Westbrook senior forward: Traina was one of the top scorers in Class A last season, tallying 15 goals and 16 assists for the Trail Blazers. He scored three power-play goals last season, and will once again be a key special teams contributor.

Ethan Tucker, Cheverus/Yarmouth junior goalie: Tucker was outstanding between the pipes last season, winning 17 games with a goals-against average of 1.62 and a .910 save percentage. He’ll once again be the last line of defense for the defending Class B champions.

Ben Urban, Kennebunk/Wells senior forward: Urban scored 12 goals to go with six assists last season and will be a key player for the Rams again. Urban was especially dangerous on the power play, scoring nine goals with the man advantage.

Brandon White, Falmouth senior goalie: White was a standout in net for the Navigators last season, playing every game while posting a .932 save percentage and 1.66 goals-against average. He’ll be a leading player for Falmouth again as the Navigators look to contend for the Class A state title.

Henry Whiting, Falmouth senior forward: Whiting scored seven goals to go with 10 assists for the Navigators last season. He’ll center one of Falmouth’s top lines.

Michael Zaccaria, Portland co-op senior goalie: Zaccaria returns to the net for the Beacons, a team that includes players from Portland, Deering, South Portland and Waynflete. Zaccaria was the lone goalie on the roster last season and gained a lot of experience in that capacity.
