The Maine Mariners capped a 10-game road trip with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Wheeling Nailers on Sunday in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Wyllum Deveaux scored his 12th goal of the season in the second period to give Maine a 1-0 lead. Wheeling tied it when Louis Roehl scored at 3:25 of the third.
Brooklyn Kalmikov and Sebastian Vidmar scored in the shootout for Maine (21-30-3-0), which earned its first shootout win since Jan. 1, 2023.
Brad Arvanitis made 30 saves, plus two saves during the shootout.
