Jake Smith scored twice and Keith Petruzzelli made 37 saves as the Reading Royals skated to a 4-1 win over the Maine Mariners in an ECHL game Saturday night at Cross Insurance Arena.

The announced attendance of 6,059 was a franchise record.

Lynden McCallum scored Maine’s goal in the second period on a 5-on-3 power play, assisted by Brooklyn Kalmikov and Jacob Hudson.
