ZA will offer pizza that’s a hybrid of New York and Neapolitan styles. “It has a crispier bottom with a pronounced, airy crust,” said Jessica Tenney, who co-owns ZA with her husband, Brandon.

The menu includes classics like cheese and pepperoni, along with Truckin’ Pizza’s specialties like cheeseburger pizza, a pie topped with braised lamb and their signature “What the Dill” pie with housemade pickles, ranch dressing, red onion, mozzarella, fresh dill and potato chips. Customers can buy pizza by the slice, as well as whole 14- and 18-inch pies.

The pizzeria will also sell sandwiches made with their pizza dough, salads and items such as mac and cheese, stuffed peppers and a pretzel with pub cheese and mustard. Tenney said ZA’s bar program includes 20 draft lines featuring many local beers, wine, mocktails and cocktails spotlighting spirits from Wild Bevy Distilling in Wells.

ZA can seat 58 people inside, and another 60 on the patio. Tenney said they aim to offer live music on the patio this summer. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Truckin’ Pizza’s two food trucks will operate as usual. One is stationed full-time at Wild Bevy Distilling, and the other will handle catering and special events.

“We’re just really excited to bring what everyone loves from Truckin’ Pizza into Portland at a brick-and-mortar where everyone can find us,” Tenney said. “And we’re excited to liven up that area.”
