
Ronald Alfred Johnson Jr.
SCARBOROUGH – Ronald Alfred Johnson Jr. departed this life peacefully in the early hours of March 31, 2025, at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, at the age of 80.
He was born June 25, 1944 in Battlecreek, Mich., son of Ronald and Pauline Johnson.
Ronald treasured the memories of his eight years of service in the U.S. Navy as a jet mechanic. He also volunteered as an ambulance driver and EMT with the fire department. His favorite pastimes included playing and calling Bingo. Also, recently in life, going to get coffee, then heading to the beach to watch the waves and beachgoers with Pam as she fed the seagulls.
Surviving him are his partner, Pamela A Boyden; son, Joseph J. Johnson; grandchildren Trevor and Erika Johnson; sister, Pamela Del Bosque and her husband Tom of Florida.
His wife of 56 years, Joan Johnson, predeceased him.
Ronald will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace.
