James Conant
HARPSWEL – James Conant, 65, of Harpswell, passed away peacefully on Thursday Jan. 1, 2026, with his loving wife and mother by his side.
James was a lifelong outboard mechanic, lobsterman, and clam digger. He was always the go to guy for his community. James and his wife Tammy Conant built a beautiful life of 48 years together with a big loving family. He was born on Dec. 14, 1960, to Roberta Greenlaw and Arthur Conant.
James is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, three siblings, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Boomah.
A celebration of life will be held on January 18, from 12-2 p.m., at his home.
