BIDDEFORD — Patricia I. Lachance, 84, of Biddeford, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.
She was born June 28, 1930 in Hartford, Connecticut, the daughter of Emile and Marguerite (McLeese) Lessard.
She was educated in Lyman schools and also attended Thornton Academy.
On Feb. 10, 1979, she married Alphonse G. Lachance in Biddeford.
Mrs. Lachance was employed locally at Grants Department Store, Kings Department Store and last worked in the office at West Point Pepperell, retiring in 1980.
Patricia was an avid reader, who also had enjoyed bowling in her younger years, and later, knitting, crocheting and rug braiding.
Surviving are: her husband, Alphonse G. Lachance; and children, Dr. John O. Curtis and his wife Leigh of Clinton, Mississippi, Steven A. Curtis of Sanford, Kathy Boucher and her husband Gerard of Lyman, Steven Lachance of Old Orchard Beach and Lisa Roy and her husband Stephen of Bristol, Connecticut.
A private, graveside service will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. To share condolences online, visit www.hopememorial.com.
