The Goodwin’s Mills Firefighter Relief Association recently sponsored the annual awards banquet for the Goodwin’s Mills Fire-Rescue, which was held at The Nonantum Inn & Resort in Kennebunkport.
I would like to thank the following businesses and individual for their genorous donation of cash and raffle items that were raffled off to the attendees: Admiral Fire and Safety, Andy’s Agway, D&H Conveniece Store, Carol Dunham, Ed’s Grove Discount, Firkinsnocks Variety, GMFRA, Harris Farm, Don Hernon, Chad and Donna Johnston, Leslie Perry, The Nonatum Inn and Resort, Jacksons Corner Store, Michelle Ray, Stone Turtle Baking and Cooking School, and the Goodwin’s Mills Village General Store.
Without these donations and continued support from local businesses and the citizens of our towns, we would not be able to continue to hold this annual event.
On behalf of all at the association and the fire-rescue members, I extend a heartfelt thank you.
Normand J. Bilodeau, president, Goodwin’s Mills Firefighters Relief Association, Lyman-Dayton

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
