OGUNQUIT — Junebug’s Beach House, a coastal-inspired gift store for people, pets and home, has announced its 2016 Love Four Paws fundraisers.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of items are donated to help rescue dogs and cats.
Rescue organizations that benefit from the fundraisers are the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk, Chihuahua Rescue in Wells and Puppy Love Me in Harpswell.
Owners Cooper and Zerhusen say they are passionate about animal rescue, and part of their mission at Junebug’s is to hold fundraisers throughout the year.
They created the Love Four Paws program in 2012 for this purpose, and have donated almost $10,000 to rescue organizations since that time.
Junebug’s Beach House is located at 16 Shore Road, Ogunquit, and online at junebugsbeachhouse.com.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
