BRUNSWICK

A Lisbon Falls man told police his foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas pedal before he drove through a playground area and onto Thomas Point Beach on Sunday afternoon.

No one was injured, including 97-year-old driver Andrew Csorosz, according to Cmdr. Marc Hagan of the Brunswick Police Department.

Csorosz was driving a 2004 Honda, which struck several picnic tables in the playground area.

No charges were filed, Hagan said.
