TOPSHAM — The third annual Sunrise Stampede 5K is set to be held Aug. 10, with the start and finish at the Topsham Fair.
The 5K features scenic views along the Brunswick/Topsham bike path and a unique finish through the carnival rides and animals at the Topsham Fair.
All proceeds benefit the Sagadahoc Agricultural and Horticultural Society and support agricultural education.
Water bottles will be given to all participants, and runners may use their race bibs for a complimentary admission to the fair for the day (a $12 value).
Registration starts at 6:30 a.m., with the race to get under way at 8 a.m.
Bagels, fruit and water will be provided.
The preregistration fee is $18 and the raceday fee is $26, while the 5K “family” fees are $12 and $26.
