BURNHAM
Two people were seriously injured after their helicopter crashed.
The crash was reported at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The helicopter landed in the woods.
Authorities said the helicopter was searching for bear populations at the time.
Injured were the pilot, a 58- year old man from Bowdinham, and a passenger, a 27- year-old woman who is a Unity College student.
Authorities say the injuries aren’t life-threatening.
