A JOINT 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY PARTY was held at the Bowdoinham Town Hall for Nancy and Bob Curtis and David and Ruth Millay, pictured here, earlier this month. Both couples grew up together in Bowdoinham and wed the same summer in 1966. The gathering was attended by more than 75 family and friends and was hosted by children of the two couples. The Bowdoinham Town Hall was an especially fitting place to hold the party as it was where Bob and Nancy Curtis shared their first dance. Also, David Millay and Nancy Curtis are two of the six children of George and Helen Millay, now deceased. George and Helen Millay celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1995 and their toasting glasses were used by Nancy and Bob Curtis at this party.
