BATH — In recent Coastal Babe Ruth action, Cahill’s Tire of Bath prevailed over Goodwin’s of Brunswick 3-1, with both teams receiving strong pitching performances.
Dakota Jacobs pitched a complete game four-hitter with 11 strikeouts for Cahill’s, and also added a hit and sacrifice RBI.
Ben Warner gave up a hit over three innings, and Elias Henze had six strikeouts over three innings for Goodwin’s.
On Monday, Cahill’s Tire outgunned Lisbon Adept Screen Printing, 9-6.
Leading the charge for Cahill’s was Spencer Lindsley (single, double) and Oskar Matero (two hits), while Casey Bennoch chipped in with a perfect safety squeeze late in the game.
Nick Ridley had a hit for Adept Screen Printing, while Ryley Austin had two hits and three runs scored, and Kaleb Staples three hits, including a two-run double.
