GEORGETOWN
Georgetown had two contested local races Tuesday in addition to the state primary races and school budget validation referendum.
Dolores Pinette won the two- way race against Robin Moore for a seat on the Board of Selectmen by a 230-162 vote.
Georgetown is part of AOS 98 and had a two-person race for a seat on the school committee. Incumbent Colleen Hudson garnered 193 votes, beating opponent Sarah Wilbur by 50 votes.
In uncontested races, Catherine Collins was elected town clerk position with 371 votes; Mary McDonald was elected treasurer with 387 votes; Catherine Collins tax collector with 372 votes; Charles Collins was elected road commissioner with 352 votes and Evelyn Stevens was elected as a cemetery district trustee with 342 votes.
No one was running for the town owned property management board but Andy King received 27 votes as a write-in candidate.
