SOUTH PARIS — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade softball team pounded out 21 hits and scored 15 runs against Oxford Hills on Friday, notching its third win, 15-10.
The Eagles’ offense was led by Jaden Lohr (two singles, double, triple) and Hannah Huston (two singles, two doubles). Kassidie Doble and Breanne Hunter added three hits apiece for the visitors.
Hunter pitched a complete game for Mt. Ararat, collecting four strikeouts and walking only two. Lohr made two defensive stops at shortstop in the bottom of the seventh inning, while Ema Hawkes and Jaimey Weidner also stood out defensively.
The Eagles (3-4) finish their season with three games this week.
