Having been born and raised in Maine for over 20 years, I only ever saw a black bear in the wild once, and it was one of the most breathtaking moments I’ve ever experienced.
Thank you SO much for editorializing in favor of getting rid of cruel bear hunting practices. It takes courage and a humane understanding to stand up for the bears in this state, and I applaud you for doing so.
