The York Wildcats outscored Freeport, 8-2 in the second half en route to a 15-7 Western Maine Conference girls lacrosse win in season-opening action on Thursday.
Chloe Davidson and Paige Rinaldi each tallied two goals for Freeport, 0-1 and scheduled to host Waynflete April 25 at 4 p.m.
