Steve Lincourt

ORLANDO, Fla. – Beloved Steve Lincourt died peacefully at home on June 5, 2023 in the early morning hours, in Orlando, Fla. at the young age of 55.

He was an incredible friend and an even better father and husband. We know he is at peace and free of suffering.

As many of you are aware, Steve fought colon cancer for almost nine years and did so with incredible strength and courage and always with a radiant smile on his face. Despite this ongoing battle, Steve selflessly was always there for anyone in need.

More importantly, Steve taught us how to go from this Earth with tremendous dignity. Together with his wife, they were a true example of the Sacrament of Marriage. He remains a faithful Christian leader to our community and beyond.

Steve was born on Oct. 5, 1967 in Sanford. He graduated from St Anselm’s College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Suffolk University. After college in 1995, he settled down in the Orlando, Fla. area. Just last year, he celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with his bride, Ester. Being a big Tom Brady fan, he loved the New England Patriots and later followed the Buccaneers and of course his Boston Red Sox.

Steve is survived by his wife, Ester; and two sons, Nick and Ben; as well as his parents Bob and Nancy; and three siblings, Sandy Butler, Sue Shain and Stacey Morin.

A funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 24 at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church at 526 Park Ave. North in Winter Park, Fla., with a reception to follow. Father Walsh will officiate the ceremony.

Local arrangements are in the care of Carll, Heald and Black Funeral Home, Springvale. http://www.blackfuneralhomes.com

His outlook on life will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to meet him or know him and we will strive to continue spreading his message of unity and compassion by being the light of Christ to others. We are grateful to all who have supported us and prayed for us during these most difficult moments and all are welcome to celebrate Steve’s life with us.

Do not Fear:

I am with you;

I am your God.

I will strengthen you,

I will help you,

I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

Isaiah 41:10
