Advertising Assistant/Classified Advisor
The Morning Sentinel in Waterville is looking for an Advertising Assistant/Classified Advisor to join our team. This position works with customers to meet their advertising needs through display, online and classified ads. Sales are made via inbound and outbound calls as well as walk-in customers. This position also works at our front desk and is responsible for directing customers, taking phone calls, and distributing the mail.
Our Ideal Candidate has:
- Excellent customer service skills both in person and on the phone
- Keen attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Familiar with basic finance functions such as bank deposits, preparing affidavits, as well as billing and credit resolution.
- Previous telephone sales/customer service background
