Assistant Home Delivery Manager

The Portland Press Herald is hiring a full-time Assistant Home Delivery Manager to join our growing circulation team!

This position plays a critical role in supporting the Home Delivery Manager by providing leadership and administrative support. This position will work closely with our carriers and will also involve home delivery of our products.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience with contract management is good to have but not required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Works well independently and is reliable
  • Has strong communication and people skills
  • Enjoys working overnights (example: 11pm-7am)
  • Good, clean driving history with a reliable vehicle that is insured
  • Prior delivery experience is good to have but not required
  • Ability to work overnights and weekends
