Creative Services Designer

The Maine Trust for Local News, Maine’s largest media company, is seeking a Creative Services Designer to join our team.

This role is responsible for designing and producing advertisements for publication, spec ads for customer consideration, and marketing communications to support circulation and advertising revenue growth.

Our ideal candidate has:

Creative design skills for both print and digital ads, as well as logos, signage and general graphic design
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Skilled in the use of typography, photography, and illustration
Experience with Google Web Designer and HTML a plus
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

The Maine Trust for Local News is the state’s largest network of independent news and media outlets. We serve audiences through our 5 daily newspapers and 17 hyper-local weekly newspapers, in print and online.
