Distribution Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Distribution Supervisor

POSITION TYPE: Full Time / Part Time

POSITION OBJECTIVES/SUMMARY:

Ensure interoffice mail is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Provide supplemental support throughout Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Delivery of mail to operation sites and Post office twice a day using company vehicle.

2. Feed inserts into machine hopper or hand inserts as directed.

3. Stack down product from press or inserter.

4. Assembles cages and skids as required.

5. Keep equipment cleaned and well maintained to manufacturer’s specification. When necessary works with Plant Maintenance as necessary to achieve these goals.

6. Clears Snow and ice from around building to create safe working environment

7. Works with other departments in a support roll to accomplish various maintenance tasks as needed.

8. Complete work as prioritized to meet deadlines.

9. Understand and promotes safety procedures including LOTO and Hazard Communication.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma/GED preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is a physically demanding job requiring lengthy time standing, bending, stretching, lifting pushing and climbing. Should be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally in a team lift situation, and 25-50 lbs. regularly. Must pass pre-placement post offer screening demonstrating the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and negotiate multiple stairs.
