YARMOUTH — The School Department has posted an online survey to gather feedback from parents and teachers about the possibility of changing school start times.

The survey, which was also emailed to parents in the January newsletter, will be open online until Friday, Jan. 22, at 8 p.m. The School Committee in November discussed pushing back school start times for middle and high school students.

Three options are presented in the survey: no change, having all of the schools start 20 minutes later, and having elementary schools start earlier than the middle and high schools.

The information gathered in the survey will be used by the School Committee and Superintendent of Schools Andrew Dolloff as they consider a change. A public forum will also be held in the spring to discuss the results of the survey.
