Valedictorian Allison Goodridge is the daughter of Loren and Ann Goodridge of Bowdoin. During her time at McAuley, Goodridge was a member of the National Honor Society, Robotics Club and the Math Team. She was the recipient of the University of Rochester Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony Award and the Harvard College Book Award. Goodridge will continue her education at the University of Maine at Orono in the fall, where she will study Mechanical Engineering.


Salutatorian Emma W. D. Kenney is the daughter of William Russell Kenney and Deirdre Dupree of North Yarmouth. While at McAuley, Kenney acted as French Club President, Science Club Vice President, and Indoor Track Captain. She was a member of the French and National Honor Societies, and received the College of the Holy Cross Book Award and the Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Kenney will study Anthropology at Davidson College in the fall.


Aoife Ryle is the daughter of Philip and Simone Ryle of Portland. During her time at McAuley, Ryle served as Captain of the Varsity Swim Team, Math Team Captain, and Science Club Treasurer and Secretary. She was a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club, and received both the University of Rochester George Eastman Leadership Award and the Dartmouth College Book Award. She will continue her education at the University of Maine at Orono, where she will study Biological Engineering.


Katherine Burns is the daughter of Mark Burns and Sarah Welch of Cumberland. While at McAuley, Burns served as an officer of the Drama Club, Latin Club, and Science Club. In addition to receiving the College of the Atlantic Book Award, Burns was a member of the National Honor Society and acted as a Student Ambassador to the School. She will attend Wheaton College in the fall, where she will study Biology and Journalism.


Sara Mercier is the daughter of Richard and Susan Mercier of Portland. During her four years at McAuley, Mercier was captain of the Varsity Field Hockey and Softball Teams. In addition to being a member of the National Honor and French Honor Societies, she received the SMAA Citizenship Award, SMAA All-Conference Field Hockey Award, and the Society of Women Engineers Award. She will study Civil Engineering at Smith College in the fall.


Danielle Street is the daughter of Dean Street and Victoria VanSyckel of Cape Elizabeth. At McAuley, Street was a member of the School’s National Honor Society, Mock Trial Team, and Drama Club. She also received second place in the VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Competition. She will continue her education in the fall, studying Environmental Studies at Suffolk University in Madrid, Spain.


Jessica Murphy is the daughter of David and Lynda Murphy of Springvale. During her time at McAuley, Murphy was a member of the National Honor Society, Mock Trial Team, Key Club and Social Action Club. She was also honored with the Smith College Book Award, Rotary Service Award, and the Women’s Literary Union Essay Award. In the fall, Murphy will study Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maine at Orono.


Katerina Arabatzis is the daughter of Fr. Basil and Paula Arabatzis of Saco. As a McAuley student and Student Council President, Arabatzis received excellence awards in Latin, History, and Anatomy and Physiology. In addition to being the Treasurer of her Church Youth Group, and volunteering at the Run For Hope fundraising event, Arabatzis received the St. Michael’s College Book Award. She will attend Hellenic College, where she will study Management and Leadership.


Priya Ahluwalia is the daughter of Anant and Paula Ahluwalia of Scarborough. While at McAuley, Ahluwalia participated in PTSC Swimming, Water Polo, and Squash. She was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and the Ambassador’s Club. In addition to receiving a Presidential Scholarship and a Global Citizen’s Scholarship, Ahluwalia was also a recipient of the Williams College Book Award. She will be studying Biology and Pre-Med at Rhodes College in the fall.


Agnes Baldenweck is the daughter of Marge Baldenweck of Portland. As a McAuley student, Baldenweck was an officer of the School’s Science Club and International Club. She was a camp counselor and Venture Crew Vice President, and was a member of the National Honor Society. Baldenweck will be attending Brandeis University in the fall, where she will study Biochemistry and Linguistics.
