Ashley McComish is a barista. She makes espresso-based drinks such as cappuccinos, (adding steamed milk to the espresso shots), Americanos, (adding espresso shots to regular coffee) and lattes, (adding milk and sometimes flavoring to the espresso shots). She has worked at 158 Pickett Street Cafe for the past seven years. She also manages the popular cafe located near Southern Maine Community College in South Portland.

Barista Ashley McComish has many regulars whom she knows by name and what their favorite drink is. Her favorite beverage to make is a mocha latte, especial an iced mocha latte.

Barista Ashley McComish says she finds it difficult to wake up early in order to get to work by 6:30 a.m., but she lives right down the street and enjoys her job.
