The Regional School Unit 12 team's breakfast entry for a cooking contest included a breakfast burrito and blueberry smoothie. The contest was held Wednesday in Augusta.
Kiara Luce, an eighth-grader at Whitefield Elementary School, hugs the trophy she and Nutrition Director Vicki Dill won Wednesday at the Department of Education’s Farm to School Cook-off. Luce and Dill made an egg breakfast burrito and blueberry smoothie for breakfast and baked fish for lunch.
