Musician, filmmaker and Wiscasset resident Sumner McKane has released his second historical documentary, "The Maine Frontier: Through the Lens of Isaac Walton Simpson," told with photos from a turn of the century woodsman named Isaac Simpson. This photo is Simpson's self-portrait. The following images are some of the hundreds Simpson made of the people who cut trees, hewed railroad ties, built mills and harvested potatoes.
