Anna Bainter-Clark, 10, of Westbrook competes in The Exchange, a hip-hop dance event sponsored by Portland Youth Dance at Avant Dance Center in Westbrook on Saturday. The idea was to gather street and studio dancers and let both showcase their styles at one venue, according to Elizabeth Lau of Portland Youth Dance. The event drew 70 competitors and 350 spectators.
