PAC Donations to State Senate Candidates

PACs must report what are called independent expenditures to the Maine Ethics Commission.

An independent expenditure is spending to benefit a candidate for the purpose of print, TV or radio ads - or any communication released within 35 days of the election that names or depicts a candidate or involves a Clean Election candidate.
