Why are you running?

Our democracy is in peril and we have to work together to shake up the establishment, not the same old, same old, but a new vision that includes all people instead of accepting the dictates of the rich and powerful.

Top three priorities

Our campaign motto is ‘A critical time for democracy.’

Maine can stand up to the federal storm troopers invading our state. It is a critical time for Maine working families: healthcare, housing, food, education, justice. It is a critical time for the environment.

If you could change one thing about how Augusta functions, what would it be and why?

Loosen the party stranglehold on our elections and legislative procedures. When the people lead, the leaders will follow.

What is the biggest challenge facing Maine? The biggest opportunity?

Our aging communities and workforce need a vibrant jumpstart. When we encourage young families to move to Maine, we will see a revitalization of our downtowns, education, culture and energy.

As one of several dozen legislators in your chamber, how would you make a measurable difference for your constituents?

Exposure of our local resources to the state showcases how all communities can shine in Maine. Working and talking in a bipartisan manner makes a conversation that benefits all.
